Born in 1973, Greame joined Hibs straight  from school. He played outside left and was part of the ‘Miller’ dynasty at Easter Road as his father Alex managed the club at one point and younger brother Greg was also on the playing staff

Unable to make the expected impact at Easter Road, Greg moved to Motherwell and then on to Clydebank. With the Bankies in deep financial trouble he was forced to move on again and joined Swedish Second Divison side Vasteras. He returned to Scotland to join Brechin City in January 2000.

A pacy youngster, Kenny was a product of the Hibernian youth system and flourished under Alex McLeish. Arguably it was a spell spent on loan to Stenhousemuir that really ignited Kenny’s career. He scored twice on his debut for the Warriors and returned to Hibs a more confident player. Soon the goals came and when he popped in counters against Hearts, Celtic and Rangers it was clear he was a confident young striker who could go far in the game.

Alas just as he was hammering on the door of a Scotland call-up (having achieved Under 21 status) he was bought by Rangers for £2m. His departure created much anguish amongst a Hibernian support which felt it had a new Baker or Reilly in it’s midst. He started sensationally at Ibrox, even scoring 5 in one SPL match against St. Mirren, but he soon fell from the picture. He was eventually sold to Wolves, just days after Alex McLeish took over as Rangers boss. Had Kenny stayed with Hibernian who knows what might have transpired?

A talented goalkeeper, Willie had played for Celtic and Scotland when he joined Hibs in January 1954 from Clyde. In  truth, manager Hugh Shaw had signed Willie as cover for Hamilton and Younger and the Glaswegian who was a qualified locomotive engineer, spent muchof his time looking after his ‘Millers Bar’ in Townhead, Glasgow.

Signed from Edina Hibs in 1987, Willie made his debut in February 1990 against Celtic. He made swift progress thereafter and was capped by Scotland at Under-21 level. He proved popular with the Hibernian support largely by dint of his physical approach to the game and whole-hearted commitment.

In 1934 Arthur moved from Brechin Vics to Dundee United and thus began one of the most interesting careers. A prolific marksman he moved to Liverpool in March 1937 on loan but was not returned to Dundee United. He joined Willie McCartney’s Hibernian and in June 1941 scored within 20 seconds of the start of a famous 5-2 Hibs win at Celtic (indeed he bagged a hat-trick that day). Alas his career was nearing an end when football resumed after World War Two. He did play in 3 matches in the 46.47 season and netted a single goal at the expense of Kilmarnock in a 6-0 win.

Calumn was only 17 when Hibs signed him from Salveson Boys Club in April 1983. He flitted in and out of the team and after 8 seasons at the club had only just made the 50 appearances mark.

His career was clearly hampered by injury and perhaps less so by indiscipline. He was sent off against Rangers in 1991; a dismissal that infuriated Hibs boss Alex Miller.

Born in Glasgow in 1962, Graham joined Hamilton Accies from Auchengill BC in 1979. He became one of their finest defenders and stayed with them until December 1986 when he joined Hibs.

He soon forged a strong defensive partnership with Gordon Rae and this would continue when Gordon Hunter moved into central defence. He won a League Cup winners badge in 1991 and was in the side beaten by Rangers at Celtic Park in the same tournament two years later. After a long an distinguished career with Hibs he was free in May 1996 and made the short journey to Falkirk.

A talented youngster at Easter Road, Dougie suffered form a lack of first team opportunities and elected to try his luck away from Easter Road. He made a very good job of it too.

In season 53/54 he made the ideal start to his Hibs career. Playing one league game he made it a scoring debut, netting the winner in a 2-1 victory over St Mirren.

He went to Falkirk in January 1957 and quickly helped them win the Scottish Cup (a trophy that had eluded Hibs since 1902). Then in July 1961 he moved on to Ipswich Town where he was an integral part of their finest years. He returned to Scotland with Dundee United but could not settle and joined Falkirk once more.

A left-back who came to Hibernian in 1955 from the then prolific nursery of Edinburgh Thistle. Made 24 appearances in 56/57 and in the words of Lawrie Reilly ‘had a very good left foot’.

In later life worked in the Tollbooths on the Forth Bridge.

Signed as a schoolboy, Linsday was in fact a schoolboy internationalist and he came into the first team in 1976 after impressing in the pre-season tour of Ireland. Strong and determined he was an attacking midfielder.

In 1978 he joined St Johnstone and he stayed their for two seasons before moving south to Berwick Rangers.

A centre-forward he joined Hibs in 1950 from Dumbarton Strollers and at only 5’6” he had to have that little extra to succeed in that position.

He played a couple of games in the 1951 Championship winning team but sought success elsewhere and signed for Accrington Stanley in March 1957. It was a move that worked well and he scored a very impressive 36 goals in 70 matches. Later in his career he played for Tranmere.

A refined and cultured player, Iain Munro was a delight to watch. His cerebral approach and almost artistic use of the ball allied to a wonderfully balanced athleticism made him a tremendous team player. There was a considerable gnashing of teeth when he left Hibs for Rangers in 1976, a feeling which lingered when the players received in exchange- Ally Scott and Graham Fyfe – failed to live up to expectations.

Ian joined St. Mirren in 1968 but was farmed out to Cambuslang Rangers and Blantyre Vics before joining full time in 1969. A Physical Education teacher to trade he was part-time at St. Mirren until Hibs signed him in 1972 and he played in the 1973 Dryburgh Cup final over Celtic and the 1974 League Cup final which the club lost 3-6 to Celtic. Indeed his home debut had come against St Mirren in a Dryburgh Cup tie at Easter Road.

Alas he was sold  to Rangers but that did not work out and he returned to St. Mirren when their young boss Alex Ferguson convinced him to join the likes of Fitzpatrick, Richardson and Stark in a flourishing Paisley side.

Iain won 7 Scotland caps before joining Stoke City then Sunderland before returning to Scotland with Dundee United. John Blackley convinced Iain to return to Hibs and he enjoyed a fine twilight to his career playing in another  League Cup final (1985/86) and a Scottish Cup semi-final.

Retiring at 35 he then entered coaching and managed Dunfermline, Dundee, Hamilton Accies and Raith Rovers. He then moved to Ayr United to be assistant to Gordon Dalziel.

A talented Hibs youngster under Bob Shankly John made fleeting first team appearances and played on the tour of Nigeria. In June 1971 he left Hibs to join Morton but after 70 games for the Greenock club he was on his travels once more, this time Stirling Albion being the destination. He brought the curtain down on his senior career with a spell at Cowdenbeath.

Born in Dundee in 1959, Gary was signed in 1980 from Montrose where he was a prolific marksman. He joined Hibs in December 1980 for £50,000 and did not disappoint.

One of Gary’s great strengths was that he could play wide on the left as well as straight down the centre. Strong in the air, he was also adept at cutting in from wide positions and using his shooting power to good effect.

He made his debut for Hibs in the First Division against Stirling Albion and had his first goal a few weeks later in a 1-0 win over Dumbarton.

A speedy forward Willie was a fringe player in the Eddie Turnbull years. He could take a chance when presented and was the kind of busy player that supporters could relate to.

He was born in Edinburgh in 1954 and joined Hibs in October 1970. Although a member of the Scotland Youth team patience was required on Willie’s part before making his Hibernian breakthrough because he did not make his first team debut until July 1972 against Waterford
