Welcome to the Hibernian on line programme guide. The site has been set up to provide information regarding the issue and non issue of programmes for Hibs games since 1947. There will eventually be over 3,000 programme covers on this site. The programme information and covers can be accessed by clicking on the appropriate season in the grid at the bottom of this page. There are a few blank spaces in the programme pages where information is not known regarding the issue of a programme. Other information can be found by using the menu bar above. Statistical information can be found on my other website Hibsstats. Which covers Hibernian matches since the clubs formation. I have been collecting Hibs programmes and memorabilia since 1977 when I made my first trip to Easter Road. My first interest in Hibs came when my father took me to Gayfield in 1968 (he followed Arbroath our local team everywhere) when Hibs were playing Arbroath in the old first division. Some thing clicked when I saw these green jerseys and the white sleeves for the first time. Instead of following my local team(their colours put me off) like my father, Hibs were to become my team, and I have been going to see them regularly since I started work in 1979. The majority of programme covers on this site are from my own collection but I am indebted to several people (see acknowledgements) for the scans and information that they have sent me. Brian Johnston of Almondvale programmes has kindly allowed me to take photo’s of some of the rarer Hibs programmes which are featured on this site. Dave Beattie.
